The historic Chestnut Level Presbyterian Church dates to the 1700’s. The congregation has grown over time and is now in need of an updated and more flexible sanctuary and modern amenities.

Hammel Associates began this project with a feasibility study and schematic design, exploring options, to expand and simplify the existing sanctuary to allow greater flexibility during worship. These options have lead to a project that includes a comprehensive renovation of their existing sanctuary, which was completed in time for a celebratory service on Easter Sunday.

The project also included two additions to provide accessible restrooms and a mother’s room.
