Prince of Peace
The cornerstone for this historic church, built as a memorial to the fallen soldiers of the Civil War, was laid in 1888. The church was later burned and reconstructed in the early 1970s.
As part of our project, Hammel Associates has re-imagined the worship and gathering spaces with a focus on music and performance, to breathe new life into this sacred space once again.
New features include custom acoustics, flexible seating arrangements, and a custom labyrinth pattern in the flooring.
Our design services focused on options, with 8 different furniture arrangements developed for worship styles, and digital renderings to illustrate a variety of paint, stain and floor tile colors.
